The FMD 036-E8-60-MBN-04 is a digital AC servo motor of the FMD series (Ferrocontrol-Motor-Digital) for operation with the DARC 2 drive controller. Together with the controllers of the DARC 2 family, the FMD 036-E8-60-MBN-04 forms a highly accurate and dynamic servo drive unit for machine and plant engineering. Electronic commutation
It is a permanent-magnet motor with sinusoidal electronic commutation. A high-resolution sine/cosine encoder (Hiperface) in multi-turn design is used as the feedback system. A type code is stored in the feedback memory, which prevents operation with incorrect parameters.
Compact design
With a flange of 70 mm (frame size 036), this servo motor is suitable for demanding drive tasks. Typical applications include handling, dosing and positioning tasks in industrial automation.
High operational reliability
The brushless design and grease-lubricated bearings ensure very high operational reliability. Two temperature sensors reliably protect the motor winding. The motors are rated to protection class IP65.
