The Ferrocontrol H190 is a PC/104 board for connecting the CANopen system to an industrial PC. The H190 is installed as a CAN controller board in the industrial PCs FIPC 5.9e, 6.9e and 9.9e, among others.
Function in the CANopen system
The Ferrocontrol CAN bus controls (DARC2) work with CANopen: the industrial PC handles control and operation, the drive controllers and I/O modules are nodes on the CAN bus. Via the CAN bus (CANopen) the industrial PC communicates with the digital drive controllers of the DARC2 and E°DARC series as well as with other CANopen nodes at the machine. The board provides the bus interface in the PC for this purpose.
Use and replacement
If the CAN board fails, communication between the PC and the drives stops. Finke Maschinen supplies the board as a spare part, tests and repairs defective boards and exchanges them for tested units. Please state the complete designation from the type plate, the type of the industrial PC and the machine type when enquiring.
