Plug and Work

The Ferrocontrol DARC V15-10-10-0F is the 15 kW supply module of the Ferrocontrol DARC system in the version with interpolation processor, communicating via CNC fieldbus (DARC system bus). The module provides the DC link voltage for up to eight axis controllers and handles the higher-level communication of the system.

Function within the DARC system
The supply module is operated directly on the three-phase mains (3 × 400 V, 380 V −10 % to 415 V +10 %, 50/60 Hz) and generates the 560 V DC link voltage for the connected axis controllers without a power transformer. Via the CNC fieldbus (DARC system bus) it receives positioning commands from the higher-level control and coordinates the data exchange with the axis controllers over the system bus; the RS232 service interface is used for parameterisation, commissioning and simple axis positioning from a PC.
